What the website needs to do

Help people find
what is around them.

A community directory needs to do more than list a name and a phone number. It needs useful information, ways to explore and a structure the organisation can keep current.

Our work with FARMED brings together the public website, producer maps, directories and member information. The organisation’s knowledge of its community supplies the substance; the website makes that information easier to explore.

Producer maps & directories

Different ways for visitors to discover the producers and businesses represented in the community.

Membership tools

Member information and renewal functionality, with ongoing changes as the organisation’s requirements evolve.

The content is part of the work.

A useful directory depends on real information: descriptions, locations, photographs and current details. This project is a good example of technical work and the client’s knowledge of their community coming together.
